We offer a wide range of wood equivalent steel poles available in both galvanized and weathering steel to meet customer requirements. Direct embed poles may include optional CorroCote II coating systems if required.

Western Utility Telecom, Inc. has the capabilities to design the structures for your substation. Equipment support structures are designed in accordance with ASCE/MRE 113 for site specific wind and seismic loads, and customer supplied equipment information.

A - Frame Structures

A-Frame structures are custom designed in accordance with customer requirements using the latest industry standards; NESC C2, ASCE/SEI 48, and ASCE/MRE 113.

  • Documents submitted include structural calculations and installation drawings certified by a Professional Engineer licensed in the state applicable to the site
  • Leg members are 12-sided tapered tubular sections
  • Cross arms are square tube or octagon tube depending on loading
  • Structures are offered in galvanized or weathering options

H - Frame Structures

Single-bay and multi-bay structures are designed for economy and to accommodate customer requirements for rigidity and strength.
